B com honours is the most prominent course among the students nowadays, in trend it is very highest opting course for the students . University of Delhi is one of the famous and prominent university which is offering such a famous course which is beneficial for the students who are mostly from commerce stream.

Since CUET exam was introduced to get admissions in University of Delhi.

Eligibility criteria for getting this course in university of Delhi through CUET:-

Any one language +Maths/Accountancy as compulsory domain+any 2 domains

WHY B.COM(H)?

• Widen the scope and depth of the course enabling them to undertake further studies in
  commerce and its allied areas on multiple disciplines concerned with commerce.
• Construct a sound theoretical footing.
•  Acquainting students with recent market practices.
•  Encourage the students to advance a range of generic skills helpful in employment,
  internships, and social activities.
• Formulating business problems and provide innovative solutions to enable the students to be
  future ready management leaders who are compassionate and yet efficient.

According to NEP(new education policy 2020);

Every courses in university of Delhi has 5 types of courses included :-

1. DSC(discipline courses)
2. GE(Generic elective )
3. VAC(value added course)
4. SEC(skill enhancement course)
5. AEC(ability  enhancement course)

In B. COM(H) (Syllabus of semester 1)

1. DSC :- 

1.1 Management Principles and Applications
1.2 Business Laws
1.3 Financial Accounting

2. GE :- 

GE- 1.1 Business Organisation
GE- 1.2 Finance for Everyone
GE- 1.3 Marketing for Beginners
GE- 1.4 Accounting for Everyone
GE- 1.5 Computer Applications in Business
GE- 1.6 Bhartiya Gyan Parampara (Indian knowledge System)

3. SEC :-

SEC 1.1 Business Organisation
SEC- 1.2 Personality Development
SEC- 1.3 Finance for Everyone
SEC- 1.4 Fundamentals of Marketing
SEC- 1.5 Business Communication

4. VAC :- It differs from college to college .

5. AEC :- Mainly AEC contains either hindi or EVS(environmental sciences ) depending upon colleges which to provide.

*GE will give you a minor degree in whatever subject you have chosen in it and also then you will be able to do the post graduation in that particular subject*.
